We decided to finally take Owen for his first haircut today! He had such little hair as an infant that it seemed like he would never need it cut. He then had the "mullet" and then curls. I'm sure you all know I was having a hard time cutting Owen's baby curls, but we decided it was time. Some days it curled up super cute, like in our Christmas card picture below. Other days, and with the colder weather and more hat wearing, it was a mixture of flat and curly and harder to keep looking neat. We decided to take him the next time Eric needed a hair cut, so he could see them start on his hair first.
Eric caught the tail end of the hair cut on camera. Do you like our fish smocks? Owen was a little apprehensive while watching Eric get his cut but calmed down before his own cut for the most part. He did really well but did call out "Dada" a few times, since Eric wasn't within sight. He also said "cut" a bunch. :)
I'm not sure what's up with the look on my face in this photo, but I thought Owen was cute.
Here are both of my guys post-haircut. Owen loved his grape dum dum. He looks like such a "big boy" now!
