When I was growing up, I remember taking a picture most birthdays in front of the grandfather clock at the actual time of my birth - 5:54 PM. I can't seem to remember to take Owen's picture at 2:01 PM (this year or last). That would have been a cute nap time picture this year. What we have done is a picture in front of our advent calendar on December 17th with the little door open. Eric started this tradition two years ago after I had been in labor for several hours and we were headed out the door to the hospital to show that it was the 17th and how big I was. Of course my belly had dropped, and I looked terrible, but it's fun to look back and remember. I love the pictures from this year and last!

Last year - 1 year old - we blocked the calendar, but oh well!
This year - 2 years old - I just realized how similar his birthday outfit was this year and last. He looks like such a little boy now!
