Owen Update

Just to update those who don't already know, Owen is still sick (started a week ago), and we went to the pediatrician again yesterday afternoon and this morning and had a chest x-ray at the hospital last night. The good news is that the x-ray does not show pneumonia but does show some infiltrates in his lungs that look viral. He got antibiotic shots at the doctor yesterday and today and is on two different types of breathing treatments and getting an oral steroid again. He still has an ear infection, even with the antibiotics he has been on for a week. We will go back on Monday for a follow up to see our normal pediatrician. We are so thankful he is able to get good treatment at home and do see him perking up more over the last couple of days. He still has some hard coughing bouts and wheezing, but he is eating a little more and has some more energy to play a little. Of course he is getting to watch choo choos a little more often than normal, but that's ok. We are hopeful that he is on the mend!
